Goodbye Karoq, hello Octavia

Featured Replies

I sold my Karoq 1.5 tsi manuel yesterday, and bought an demo Octavia 2019 tsi 2.0 190 ps dsg instead.

The Karoq was ok, but I never really could get used to the 1.5 tsi, missing the way my good old A4 turbo put the torque in the ground.

But the main reason, was the dirt drag under the rear doors, that really p***ed me off, to have to wash it under the doors every time I drove it in the winter.

Fortunately, it didn't get a scratch or chip during the 363 days and 5000 miles I was the owner, so got a fair price.

Sorry guys and girls, you are on your own 🙂

Ah well, someone else will be getting a nearly new Karoq at a discounted price. And it will be really clean under the rear doors too.
