Many Audi's get Hankook tyres from the factory these days.

I had Hankook Ventus Prime 2 on my previous SEAT as OEM fit, they were good tyres. As a summer tyre useless in the snow, but gripped well in wet and dry. They braked very well, the replacement Continentals fitted by the lease company had noticeably less braking performance. They lasted well too, 25K out of a set of front tyres. I'd be happy if I had those on my Karoq as the OEM fitment, instead of the poorer Bridgestones it came with. I'll be changing the tyres on my Karoq soon I think, 4mm tread left at 16K miles.

So... I have now been offered some free car mats to make up for the change of spec of the wheels. Given it's a 500 mile round trip to the dealer and the mats are worth about £50 I politely declined. I have been told by customer service they are no longer able to supply the wheels and see that the style of Triton has actually changed in the brochure to something that looks a little different.

They asked me (in true customer service style) what my expected resolution would be so I told them I wanted the correct wheels for the vehicle. Once I was told this was not possible due to the lack of supply I was asked again what my expectations were so I said I just wanted a different set that I liked... Waiting to hear back again this week.
