What did your skoda do for you today?

Featured Replies

An opposite to the 'What did you do to your skoda today' thread, for those who also workhorse! Inspired by seeing a facebook post of someone transporting a massive chair in their mk3 hatch...

Just this weekend mines finished a week of commuting through strike traffic, taxied the mrs and her friends 20 miles away, went to the garden centre and carted home a tree, some plant pots and 250kg of stones (and some shopping on the way home) and returned 40 ish mpg along the way.

Great car!

Work and back all week then went to Malham Cove and back yesterday (Mrs, daughter & dog) without me and is currently sat on the driveway begging for a clean.

Obviously not all in one day...

Took the family to Cornwall and back (720 mile trip). Averaged 35mpg at decent motorway speeds which isn't bad with a roof box and fully loaded. Also entertained me when a nice person in a Golf GTD tailgates and flashes to get past, only couldn't when the lane cleared 😄

It really is a fantastic car. Apart from the road noise.

And 250kg of stones

In the boot with the seats down? How's the suspension doing? I had 25rolls of grass in once and was dodging every stone on the road to prevent rubbing.

Had 100kgs in the passenger footwell and seat. Rest in the boot, no probs at all!

Today i swapped the chrome grill surround for a Black one and it looks so much better, took around 30 minutes to do
