Pcv valve location

Featured Replies

Hey guys, purchased my first Octavia 2 last June,  the previous owner didn't take very good care of it so I've been catching up on things as I go along. Recently though I've been experiencing a surge at idle, when the car is in park, or if I  come to a stop while driving (Ithe feels like the car wants to lunge). I suspect that unmetered air is getting in somewhere and I am thinking to look at all vacuum hoses and the pcv.

Funny thing is that I haven't been able to locate the pcv! Is it that piece that connects to the intake hose, just by the right hand side of the engine cover?

It's a 1.6 Octavia Mk2  mpi.

Bsf engine.

Thanks
