New citigo collected

Featured Replies

Ordered a brand new sel 75 bhp 5 door Thursday before last and  collected it today. Crystal blue and pretty impressed. Now retired, company Audi A4 gone and we’ve started to rack up the miles on our main car. NissAn qashqai tekna autosomal swmbo suggested a city runabout. 12 on the car when I collected it now 40 . Put the spare wheel kit that I bought on line last week in the car plus the luggage tray plus Installed the arm rest that arrived today, paired my phone used the Skoda app and see I’m getting 56 mpg on a really tight engine so happy days, so far.

A warm welcome to the Forum !  Sounds like you've been busy.  Welcome to retirement.  You'll wonder how you ever found time when you were working🤣

Mats added this afternoon so another 20 miles,,, the Skoda app ain’t too poor and better than some I’ve used. Suffered my first roadkill, a grey squirrel on the way back from getting the mats and judging by the other squished animals on the road Mad June obviously beckoned for some poor unfortunates. The thrum of the 3 cylinder is weird, had a service loan car years ago with a 3 cylinder engine and daft as it sounds that sounded like a v8, the citigo sounds like a very small v6.. odd but it is a weird sound.. oh and swmbo has named it Clyde as in the Clint Eastwood film “ turn right Clyde....” when the primate stuck it’s right arm out of the truck and sent a munch of hill billy motorcyclists down like a row of dominoes
