Hello all.

 

My Superb 2.0 Tdi 140 hp DSG 2014, runs pretty good.

 

But when i drive with very light speeder, the gearshifts are pretty slow. I can feel "gas off - gearchange - gas on". Pretty smooth but very slow.

When i drive aggressive, i cant feel it, then it seems it shifts very quick.

Also i find the engine braking when comming to a full stop, pretty invasive. Esp. when it downshifts to 2´nd , it brakes the car pretty much.

 

Does anyone here know about software versions for dsg ? When i enter my gearboxnumber on diiferent sites, i get a lot of newer version for that specific box, but according to skoda, thos flas files are for Octavia, Audi, VW and so on - meaning that there is no tpi for my car containing a gearbox flash update. Does that mean i cannot get an update ?

If the update is made for the exact same gearbox number , but for a Passat, then i cannot use it, or how ?

If i check https://www.dunt.at/dsg-flashfile-tabelle/  and enter 02E 300 062 B, i get a lot of updates for the gearbox, but i really cant find out what the different types means (F40S, F43SR .. aso) ? See below.

 

I managed to download the flash files available for my vin at erwin skoda, and that was only the F40S files, which also match as it is a F40S file version 4016 i have on it by know.

According to that there should be a version 4018 and 4021 in the F40S range, and as im currently at 4016 , then it should be updated according to my logic.

 

I have asked on other boards as well, and there was a user saying that i could easily put the 4343 flash file on the dsg.

 

I can also see that the 4343 flash is the latest, but what if that file is made for same number gearbox, but in an audi, what would then happen if i apply it to my gearbox ?

 

Offcourse i dont do the flash myself, it will be a tuner - i just like to know whats happening. This is the advanced info from my gearbox:
