OOOH, I hope so, my Karoq PCH ends 28th Feb 2020, so will be ordering it's replacement then. I must nip into a Seat dealer and see if the Arona fits my size needs.

I notice that -

the 1.5 150ps petrol is not (yet) available

a beige interior is only available in leather

the "door protection system" is 150 euros

Slightly off topic, but I wonder how Skoda UK will price the Kamiq, went on German configuator, managed to add few options, came out at over €33k (about £30k)

 

Currently on holiday in Portugal and its sister (Seat Arona) is being offered from €13,395 which is just over £12k.   

 

But in UK need at least 30% more as nearer £16k for base model, and more than double for top spec.

 

Not sure how Skoda think a top spec Kamiq is worth 20%+ more than a Seat Arona Xcelence Lux which is under £25k

I would be looking at Scala prices in the UK then add more £££'s rather than SEAT Arona for the Kamiq.   As to UK prices after October 2019 and into 2020 then Skoda have no idea what will be will be.

Having checked further the price is before VAT, so UK price is comparable

RRP prices are for those renting a car and paying monthly and then handing a car back.

Or for HMRC reasons.

Where are the 400 per day going from the factory?

Storage compounds first. / Banked.

Then the First to Media / Press Fleet, then to Dealerships as Demonstrators which later will become Ex Management or in truth 'Used cars'.

That way there will be good first registration numbers.

 

Selected Brokers / Lease Companies will get ones, friendly fleet users etc at 'Good Prices' so that they are out there, 

and customers will be on the waiting lists in the belief that something in demand must be worth the wait.

Motability in the UK will have an allocation and get them on their list for 2020.

I couldn't wait until next year although I love the look of this. Ordered a Troc in the end.

Spoke to local ŠKODA dealer last week stock answer Q4 delivery spring 20, ask them to call when they get one in to test.

Taken this from Czech configurator,  4 non metallic paint, 8 metallic plus expensive Velvet red

The only free colour is Energy Blue   (might be different in UK)
