Is it me......?

Featured Replies

Evening all.

I have a lovely 1.4 TSI ACT SEL Executive (Best car I have ever had), and have just looked on the configurator for the facelift model. It is now over £30,500 and only available with 2.0 TSI with DSG.

Am I missing something? Will it be available with the 1.5 TSI ACT?

Also, Columbus is now an £800+ option.

The price seems to have jumped massively and the spec dropped.

😧

Can someone clarify please?

Thanks all.

Just looked and the 2.0 150 diesel has gone, there are only the two 190hp engines with dsg.

Looks like I will be looking elsewhere when I change it in six months.

Or buying the one I have.

150 diesel (new engine) is coming in autumn

Think the 1.5tsi is being replaced by a 1.4tsi and will follow in a few months after launch.

Big part of the price increase is due to the fact that the pound has drop significantly against every currency there is, especially in the last few months. I "wonder" why.

Some manufactures can absorb a lot of the increase because they charge a lot BMW, MB etc. but other hose margins are not as wide as them have had to put up their prices.

Interesting comments; thanks all.

All I want to do is replace like for like around December time. The car has been fantastic, and just wanted another one.

Guess I will have to wait to see what transpires, but it does seem to be pushing me into BMW 5 Series territory.

I think that's only the Superb PHEV - its gets a 1.4 Tsi mated to a gearbox mounted electric motor.
