Radio Fault

Featured Replies

Hi, I've recently got a 2016 L&K 4x4 yeti with the Amundsen radio fitted, all was great for 4 months but now the radio is playing up. It turns itself off and then back on, it's always been at the start of driving within the 1st  5-10mins, then  after it "reboots?" its fine.

At 1st i thought it was something to do with listening to music on my phone via blue tooth but it has also happened when playing the radio. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

try taking fuse 8 out of the under bonnet fuse box for a couple of mins, reinstall and retry, it might solve the problem!

Might be worth getting the car scanning with VCDS or similar.

My headunit occasionally turns off and on at the moment but I think it's due to a faulty ignition switch given the error codes I have :)

I'll give it a go and see what happens, thanks

I don't have access to any fault code readers, I'll try the fuse removal to see if it resets first. If it doesn't i'll have to find somebody local. Thanks
