Škoda Octavia MKIII 2014 DSG DQ200 - slipping clutch feel ?

Featured Replies

Hello Škoda fans,

I have Škoda Octavia Combi 2014 - MkIII with 7- speed clutch DQ200. I bought it in 2016, now it has 90.000km. When I drive I feel in 3th and 5th gear that clutch slips for a second, and then repeats and repeats. When engine is warm up on the operating temperature this is dissapears, does not occure any more. Sometimes, even when motor is cold this does not occure, sometimes does - it is not constant. I have been at general ŠKODA servis and they made 34H5 upgrade, but it not works. Do you have some ideas what it should be ? In servis they said oil change is not needed - is this a problem ?

Best regards

I've had the same problem on a Fabia and Octavia with the same gearbox.

On both occasions a new clutch pack was needed and on the Octavia I also had to have a mechatronics as the mechanic noted something on the diagnostics when changing the clutches.

Mileage on the Fabia was 13000 miles and on the Octavia 30000 miles. The total bill for the Octavia was £5500 but luckily the car was still in warranty.
