It went a lot faster than that earlier in the week when it was completely dry. 

 

The outright record went after 20 years.

Looks like a slot car. I prefer the drama of the old record - Heidfeld fighting the Mclaren all the way up the hill - not to mention the V10 noise.

    1. That's gravity, not electrickery! ;)
    2. Seriously, there are downhill sections in the climb, so coasting down may not work.

    I enjoyed Chris Harris driving the ID.R on top gear.  It really showed the limitations that VW have 'currently' with the batteries.
