Rear Reversing Camera Wash

Featured Replies

Apologies in advance if this is obvious but I noticed on a couple of mornings opening the tail gate that my finger got wet that had me wondering if there was a leak in the rear wiper wash system as the fluid had the smell of washer fluid. Then I noticed that the rear camera has its own little washer nozzle. OK this may be a is a standard feature on cars with a rear camera (I have no data)  but regardless its a neat idea. After reversing after  rain soaked journeys to work the rear view camera was virtually useless so had to resort to those things in the front of my head called eyes to park. with residual rain but with the wash this could improve things a lot. I'll update following the next journey in the rain.

It's either simply clever or I'm simply stupid for no knowing or both, either may apply.

In case you haven’t sussed it out, the camera washer operates in conjunction with the rear screen wash.

Funnily enough, it's the same on my Cupra and I didn't realise that it was there either!

Thanks Kenny R I'll bear that in mind next time. I had no idea that the feature existed at all but now knowing it works when the rear screen wash is good information. Thanks.
