Towbar/reverse camera coding

Thanks to these great forums I managed to fit a towbar with dedicated electrics and reversing camera to my MY16 65 plate Octavia 2.0 TDI Estate.

Using VCDS I followed the coding for the towbar electrics but it was not quite as documented.

1. When I got to 69-Trailer-byte 1 I was expecting to set to 01 - Trailer connector dioagnostics active, but I don't get that option. I get Partial Network Operation NOT Active, which I can set to active. I didn't change it as I didn't know what it meant. Perhaps my trailer module doesn't have diagnostics so that option is not available??
2. In the same module I enabled byte 3 - Terminal 30 output (pin 9) active while trailer connected and byte 4 - Terminal 30 output switched (pin 10) active while trailer connected. I assume that is correct??
3. With the caravan connected and the vehicle in reverse the rear camera is still active. I would have thought the camera wouldn't be active with a trailer connected? I have just found in 10-Park/Steering Assist, Rear View/Enviromental Camera NOT installed. I have changed it to Camera Type RVC Installed. Not sure whether it will make a difference until I can hitch the caravan up.
4. The only other thing is that the post mentions Front Assist Radar needs coding as well. Any more info on this as I have Front Assist but not ACC.
