....but now I have a Skoda!

 

I originally wanted an Octavia when I was looking to get rid of my BMW 330Ci and get something more......practical. However it was at the time of the face-lift and it seemed the dealer was hell bent on selling me a diesel. i left annoyed and didn't go back, and bought a rather (didn't know at the time) terrible Vauxhall Insignia for family duties.

Nearly 2k in repairs later and at the point where I was ready to push the Insignia off the nearest cliff (if there were cliffs in darkest Milton Keynes), I found myself on a dealers website, looking at the Skoda Octavia that I actually wanted originally, A white Octavia vRS estate, petrol. One deposit, test drive, and some discussion later, the deal was done.

 

It's a 65 plate, so not split headlight and 220ps, but made up for the loss of the 3 litre 6-pot beemer. I'm pretty happy, it's the daily drive so should be with me for some time.

 

I had experienced a clutch issue, I think, but I guess time will tell.

 

I also have a Subaru Impreza WRX and a Mazda MX5, and I'm looking forward to my first Skoda experience.
