Can anybody tell me if the roller blind type of parcel shelf will fit in a hatch directly, without having to replace the side panels

I don't think the roller style will fit in the hatch at all. It was certainly never an option as far as I'm aware...

I doubt it... its got runners/sliders and hooks surely?

And the trims would be shaped to fit the rear end shape of the estate rather than hatch which are going to be different..

To add to the above, the parcel shelf is designed to lift when the boots opened. Might be a tad tricky getting what's essentially a roller blind to pivot.
