2007 VRS- MAF sensor low input

Featured Replies

Evening all... My engine management light came on the other day. Have plugged it into a friend's VCDS and is showing P0102-007 MAF sensor signal too low. I replaced the sensor (Bosch but admittedly 2nd hand) and fault still stands. I'm fairly convinced it's an electrical fault as if I reset the code it reappears instanly, even if the engine is off.

The back of the connector looks clean and corrosion free. Any thoughts or experience on whether this is likely to be damage to the loom and if so are there any areas particularly susceptible??

... I'm assuming it's conicidental but a few days before this I realised that  neither my washer pump or heater blower were working, thanks to this forum I think it's probably the relay in K75 and am waiting for a replacement to arrive. Any chance it's related?

Have you checked the fuses?

All the fuses are intact. I haven't checked beyond that. Is there a fuse associated with the sensor? Any idea which? I've only got a Haynes manual for wiring diagrams and it doesn't have that level of detail.
