Hi

i've bought some genuine yeti roofbars but haven't a scooby how to fit them. Anyone got instructions or a video.  I've hunted about the tinternet but no luck

Not off hand, but they're not hard to fit. I've not got the yeti nor the bars any more so I'm doing this from memory

 

Firstly use an allen key to screw the mounting pegs into the threaded inserts in the roof rails

 

Then unlock the end caps with the key and remove.

 

At both ends of each bar, move the red locking tab to the side to release the roofbar mounting mechanism

 

Line up each bar on the mounting pegs and, when in position secure the mechanism until the red locking tab clicks into place.

 

Then secure the end caps with the key

It's not dissimilar in that it has push down lever with a red locking latch to the side, but the main difference is that the yeti ones clamp to pins on the inside of the rails rather than wrapping round them
