HM Coastguard Yeti

Featured Replies

I was at Inverness Skoda today dropping of Zebedee for them to have another go at fixing the P16C7 heater support pump error code (they've already replaced the pump to try to fix this error code) and I came across this parked in their car park. Good to see a Yeti being used for a serious purpose and rather fine it looks too.

They have a fleet of them.

As above, they have had a fleet of Yeti for years. I used to see them on Isle of Skye.

On the news this morning they were reporting on the inquest of the helicopter crash near Boroubridge recently. In the picture taken of the site, there were two identical unmarked silver Yetis at the crash site, presumably being used by the air accidents investigation department?

The AAIB did indeed have a fleet (well 6 I think) Yetis for many years but have now replaced them with Karoqs.
