Is Dacia producing the low cost / value new cars people want that Skoda no longer offer?

Are service / consumable parts the same as Renault ones and the same price?

Than for other parts if required for a Dacia, do you know if they are they more expensive than anyone would expect to paying?

Majority of parts used in service and repairs are not Renault parts they are filters, oils, plugs, brake disks etc all produced by third parties either via Renault distribution or motor-factor suppliers so well cheap if you source direct.

Renault servicing is same as I have paid for Skoda and less than is paid for VW and Audi, BMW or Mercedes.

Only pain has been Dacia has tending to have 12k mile service intervals were Renault tends to be 18k miles plus so in that way more frequent costs but overall on the cheaper side to most marques.

I use ex-Dacia/Renault/Skoda/Yamaha dealer and do around fifty thousands miles a year so have a great relationship with my car and bike dealers.

As with VW Group they all come off the same marque hub ie Renault Group or VW Group.  I would hope the prices are the same in both cases, it is the labour rate that get you. I think the Audi charge rates when I had my A3 and A4 where up round £100 ph compared to Skoda where I was paying at £75 and even got big discount off that when Skoda, and the Renault, culled their dealership network for a bunch of bad customer service multi outlet sales companies rather than the fantastic family owned dealership so big surprise driver do not go so much to the conglomerates etc for warranty work where they have to.

My local Renault / Dacia dealership now has MG as well.

That is a Chinese car, but one that you can get as a EV while Skoda still can only have you order a Citigo iV and still no news on anything bigger being in showrooms or on your drive the next year.
