Logging launch control or excessive abuse of dsg?

As per the title really, is there an easy way of testing a dsg box?

You know maybe like you would of done in the old days by putting in high gear and pulling see if anything is slipping?

So for the modern dsg car with launch control, is there a way to see how many times this may, or may not of been done?

Other than asking the fella selling how to turn it on and observe the reaction :)

AFAIK you can check the Launch Count using VCDS on the newer 7 speed wet clutch DSG but not on the 6 speed version - wanted to check my 6 speed.

He mentions digging quite a bit so I reckon this might be xman. Need to check in his Golf estate boot for a large shovel.:tongueout:

There is worse dimness.

BMW tried knocking back Warranty Claims on track use of cars exactly the same as the public might buy,

& to promote they and hand over to journalists to use on track and big up the cars then BMW UK sell into the public.
