Meteor grey paint code

Featured Replies

Does anybody know the paintcode for a 2019 karoq in meteor grey please? I've searched in the boot for the sticker that was on my Octavia but can't find anything? Someone very kindly opened their car door into my Mrs new karoq so I've been tasked with touching up the chip.

Thanks Mike

'Meteor Grey'  (bad translation Gray)

as used on Mk2 Fabia Reaction & vRS, Octavia etc was and is LF7A,  Solid Grey non metallic but called 'Special paint' early on and extra cost.

No idea why often showing as 'metallic'.

But then it is showing LF7H,  sometimes Meteor Grey is called Steel Grey,

but Steel Grey was a metallic. well sometimes it was, except in a country where it was Meteor Grey and called Steel Grey.

Confused?

You should be.

    ?

Is your car Solid Grey as it like a Primer colour?

Hmmm that is strange, it's definetly not metallic, in fact the Mrs is sick of hearing people say when they going to put the colour over the primer!😂 shiney primer I'd call it but she loves it. Might have to take a punt and order that paint code and see what turns up then

Why not buy it where a trusted seller can supply the correct paint.  A Skoda parts desk, but then that is not trusted.

A motor Factor that mixes paint.

A seller that can check via reg number and VIN if really there is no paint code with the car.

All options just assumed it was pretty common colour nowadays and someone would have known on here already or could have told me where the paintcode could be found on a 2019 karoq.

The Paint Code has always been on the Build Stickers in the Spare Tyre Well.

But then all cars have not been having Build Stickers there anymore.

(It used to be in the Service Manual that had the same build sticker info, but the 'Simply Clever' manufacturer stopped providing them long ago.

Hi, I have the karoq in steel grey (I think also known as meteor grey), which at least in my case it is non-metallic. I bought a touch up paint from this seller on eBay https://www.ebay.de/itm/Genuine-Skoda-Touch-Up-Paint-Pencil-Set-2-x-9ml-Various-Colours-Scratch-Repair/264007774940

and was the right one.

You can select the colour from the list. The code in my case is F7A M3M3.

Searching the internet I came across this site

http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/Paint-it-yourself/Original-Skoda-repair-TOUCH-UP-SET-PLATIN-STEEL-GREY-9157-F8L-2G2G

selling a metallic steel grey, but haven't used it.

Hope it helps.
