iPhone compatibility with 2015 Skoda Fabia (with full bolero screen)

Featured Replies

I've recently bought a 2015 Skoda Fabia SE L which came with bluetooth connectivity and the bolero screen with 'MirrorLink' function, however I have an iPhone and from researching I've found mirror link is only compatible with android and that only the later 2015 Fabia models have the smart link and therefore CarPlay feature in order to link with iPhones.

Is there anyway to get the current system to work with an iPhone- bluetooth works fine for handsfree and media playback but it's the ability to use google maps or any other navigation apps on the screen I really need. Either an app, lead or slight tweak to the system etc that might work?

I think that a Skoda Fabia from 2015 is a Mark III not a Mark II.

You might want to post this in the Mark III section.

Not without changing hardware I believe.

Ah okay thank you!

As far as i'm aware, my late 15-plate connects to my iPhone 7+ via MirrorLink even though the SmartLink menu shows "CarPlay", you must connect via USB cable though.

Try it, if it doesn't work then tough luck i guess! If it does then be happy!
