Was just going for a quick wash (no modem)

Featured Replies

Got home early last night and decided to wash my car, out came the Karcher and two buckets and did just that used my waffle weave to dry it leaving not to bad a job (it was fully polished and waxed 2 weeks ago). then i looked at the wheels and thought i'd better clean them so AG machine cleaner, scrubbed and rinsed off and dried. then took some Klasse AIO to them and followed this with some PB's Wheel sealent.

whilst that was drying i went to get some megs QD from the garage and layed my hands on a somple of Blackfire Wet Diamond, All Finish Paint Protection i had got from Rich (www.pollishedbliss.co.uk)

thought id give it a go and all i can say is wow.

applied with a megs foam applicator and worked from front to back. applied it to the whole car then went back and buffed it off with a work towel.

then thinking i was finished stood back and saw all the finger prints on the inside of the windows so AG glass polish on the out side (interior is getting done at the weekend). again worked round the whole car inc wing mirrors and then did the wipers. went round to buff it and then remembered my wheels ('twas a long day). buffed off the now dry PB's and just for the finishin touch polished the exhaust.

I was happy with what i could see, not much as it was rapidly approaching 10pm and i was working by the light of a couple of sensor lights in my drive

anyway heres the results of 4hrs work in impending darkness. the first ones i took last night and the rest were this evening with a few dirty rain marks.

Perhaps not as deep, dark and rich a colour as i was looking for but it is far from a perfect swirl free surface to work on and it should get better with time and more applications.

but it is so easy to use i'd be happy to buy more of the stuff

please dont mention the scuffed alloys (heard everyting under the sun) and they will be replaced in a matter of months.
