Fabia vRS Juddering in Gear under load

Featured Replies

Hi all, recently bought my first Fabia vRS. It’s a 2007 in Black with the BLT engine. When I was driving the car, I noticed under full throttle in higher gears the car would judder really bad. It felt like it was coming from the Engine. I’ve looked around and I’ve seen some saying it’s the EGR and some saying DMF. It doesn’t make any rattling sounds. However the engine does move a lot when revved on idle. Possibly an engine mount?

Any help is appreciated

Cheers

Check the dog bone bushes for excessive movement.

I checked the dogbone and it seems fine. I have however noticed a few of the boost pipes are loose and oily. The EGR is also ridiculously dirty. I’ve ordered an EGR delete and cooler delete. Gonna refit the boost pipes and hope they are secured more. Anything else I should check? I did find a split CV boot too.
