Glow plug caps

I need help in removing the caps on my glow plugs, they seem very tight and I don't want to force, any ideas.

I had a pair of pliers given me. I had no idea what they were for but they were useful at work.

I have since found out they were for pulling off h/t caps like the glow plug caps.

These are by Laser Tools.
