Hi,
We've recently bought our first Skoda.  After much deliberation we got a petrol 1.4TSI Octavia SE Estate (4 years old and 32K miles).  In its first 6 months its been the perfect car for our twin family passions of snowboarding and camping.  

I also love that although we couldn't find an electric or hybrid option that suited us this time round the car is as economical as it can be for this size, and paying £30 a year road tax for having Lower emissions is a win.  Having had an Audi A3 previously but a Ford most recently I'm really enjoying some of the engineering fitnesse the VAG group offer again but also impressed by the little touches that Skoda bring.  To me it feels like the brand have the sweet spot in terms of value for money without engineering compromise.

Fingers crossed we're looking forward to many years of  motoring with our Octavia.  I'm also noticing that whenever I meet another Skoda owner without exception they love their car and that's a really great sign.
