How to remove a service from the list?

Featured Replies

Having struggle dto get a service (folding) to work I have 3 services listed that are no longer required. Stupidly I have deleted tohe folders relating to each one.

Each service is the same except for the file location.

How do I remove the redundant services from the list ?

Hmm - Mr TKW took me through this on MSN with a "no warranty implied or given should I f*** it up :D)

Its not really a problem to just right click and stop the services. I also had two redundant services like this, and they were there for ages before I was tutored through their removal.

Regedit - HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\ - find the relevant keys, delete them, and reboot. Be careful - you could break your system.
