Rear door card removal Mk 3 Fabia estate.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I need to remove the rear door card on my car as I am fitting a rear camera dash cam. Is there any instructions or other help I can get from the forum as looking at the door card I can't see an obvious way in.

Thanks

If nobody else can help, you can get detailed information on this, and on pretty much all official skoda maintenance documentation from erwin. Its 7 euros for 1 hours access, so i'd recommend grabbing a drink and downloading all you can. Its an official skoda thing.

Removing the door trim looks pretty easy. Apart from removing the window handle/switch there is a square panel by the door release with a screw behind and the cover for the interior door handle with 2 screws under. There is a weird clip under the panel by the speaker grill, then the rest are pop clips starting from the bottom and once you can get to it, the bowden cable for the door release needs releasing. On erwin with your VIN you'll get specific details for your year/model.

Is this the tailgate card or a door card?

Thanks to everyone, got the internal body repair info from Erwin and it shows all I need to know in that file.
