On a Honda Civic 2002 Stock, is there a genuine reason why the gas mileage is constantly getting worse over time? The tires are correctly inflated, and it is well-maintained. Just wondering if there is something I have not thought of. Need suggestions from those who are better off with particular model.

Does well maintained me that is recent times the spark plugs have been checked, gap checked and replaced if needs be, and the same with the Air Filter.

Brakes serviced and no binding?

The mechanic addressed that CAT converter is almost choked and recommended me to get it replaced. Rest is fine breaks, spark plugs, fuel filter each and everything.
