Incorrect external temp

Featured Replies

Hi all ! Just collected motor after a service in this fantastic weather ! Must be at least 22'

Pulled up in our car park and checked the outside temp.... 14' lol ! Well thats not right !

I've let the dealers know but if there is any chance it could just be a connector thats not pushed home properly i'll have a look.

Anyone know where the sensor is and if it's easy to get at ?

cheers

Yeah and the Mrs best mate wears black and carries a scythe ...

I'll swap your temperature sensor for my over zealous TPMS. Yet another false alarm and brief stop at services to check. I think it gets upset when I tow.

Back to your issue.. assuming that your car isn't menopausal perhaps it was stored somewhere cooler so took a while for the sensor to warm up (so to speak)?

No it was sat in the sun... The problem I had the other week with the maxidot vanishing... I wonder if they had reset some 'stuff' and it just took a while for 'stuff' to catch up... ? It's been fine since and behaved exactly as it has done for the past 4 years.
