My 2007 Octavia VRS, registered 01/03/07, will it be the PD or CR engine and will it have a DPF?

Or is there an easy way to find out...?

Easiest way is to find out what your engine code is .

Most likely a PD given the age.

 

if you have your service book handy - open it up and look for the sticker otherwise open the bonnet and look near the timing cover - theres should be a label with code.

That year would have had a PD engine with a DPF.
