Well, I'm not the sharpest, am I. Bought the Karoq in April 18 and only tonight noticed there are small lights in the wing mirrors. My driveway is reasonably well lit. And these lights are not exactly dazzling bright. But 17 months on.....

But I have previous. After almost 2 years I found the sat nav on the previous BMW had voice control. No need to twiddle the knob. Apparently.

 

These are called puddle lights. You are not alone it took me 9 months to inform the wife how to lock her SEL by just touching the sensor on the door handle rather than using the key fob to lock/unlock DOH.
