Hi, I have a 2015 Skoda Octavia S E Business diesel estate and the boot has stopped closing. The lock on the tailgate open and closes but when you try to shut the boot it just won't go down fully for the catch to work. I took off the boot lid panel and oiled the mechanism however after replacing this the rear windscreen wiper wont work! Grrrr. I then opened the glove box to check the fuse for the rear windscreen and this has not blown. I have searched and searched to try and resolve the problem but to no avail. I wondered if it was worth removing the bottom plastic cover on the boot body as it were to see if I could adjust the bar that lock locates onto. I don't want to remove this panel only to find that the bar cant be adjusted. If someone could share their time and knowledge to help remedy the rear windscreen wiper problem and the boot locking problem I would be very grateful. Many thanks

So the rear windscreen is fine! only the boot problem to solve now
