Floods

Featured Replies

Sorry to say but this isn't an uncommon occurrence at that ford. There are plenty of warning signs before it, but people think they know better.

Yes, same ford: Shell Ford, Himbleton, Worcs. (http://www.wetroads.co.uk/worcestershire.htm) Read down the page.
Know it well and most of the time it is quite innocuous, but that stream can come up quickly.

It appears the wire up-stream from the foot bridge has gone otherwise the Yeti wouldn't have got that far.

Looks like a Pano roof would have come in handy on that Yeti.

Brings a new meaning to " Dipping your headlights "

Or to "flooding the engine".

There was another yeti parked on a drive which had been flooded to nearly roof height befoire the waters receded on Isle of Man, on the bbc report.
