Clickity, clickity, click = no heat from heater.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I have a 2014 Greenline 'S' 1.6 tdi.

For about a week we had a loud clicking noise from the lower dashboard footwell area, it seemed to be some how linked to second gear?

Now the clicking noise has stopped but there is no heat coming out of the heater. Everything else is working fine engine, gearbox, manual aircon, fan motor etc.

I think that possibly a flap in the heater has stuck, the clicking noise was a solenoid or motor cogs trying to move it which has now failed, any help would be appreciated in diagnosis and fixing the problem.

In the past I have always had a Haynes Manual to refer to but I cant find anything available for my yeti, as a VW derivative should I be looking for a Golf manual?

Many thanks.
