Correct part number for Karoq 18” Braga alloy wheel

Featured Replies

Does anybody know the correct Skoda part number for the 18” Braga alloy wheel which is fitted to the Karoq SE-L trim model?

I was wanting to buy one for a spare. The Karoq accessories brochure shows the Braga 18” wheel as 57A071498E 8Z8. So I called my local Skoda dealer to ask for a price for this alloy wheel, and he quoted me £191.04 including VAT. I then asked him to check that it’s the same part number as the ones which came with my car. He told me that the factory-fitted wheels are part number 57A601025D 8Z8, which are more than £300. So now I’m confused! Do these different part numbers make any sense to any of you?

It is common that the OEM wheel from the factory and the ones purchased as a part have different part numbers.

Buy where cheapest.

If for a spare why not try and find a used wheel?

Hi Roottootemoot,

Thanks for your clarification regarding the original part number vs. the after-market part number.  I wasn't aware of that difference.

I did have a look on both eBay and Gumtree.  But all of the cheap second hand ones which I found looked quite badly damaged.  I'm quite cautious with wheels and tyres, and I don't want to take any risks with something which could turn out to be more than just cosmetic damage.  If I could find a decent deal on a 2nd hand Braga wheel in near mint condition, then I would definitely be interested.  But if I can't find a good 2nd hand one, I'll probably buy a brand new one from my Skoda dealer for £191, which doesn't seem too outrageous for an 18" OEM alloy wheel.

I also tried to find a UK-based online retailer of brand new Skoda wheels, but I couldn't find any at all.  Are there any other good options for buying brand new Skoda wheels in the UK, other than buying from my local Skoda dealer?

Thanks for your advice.
