In car USB chargers.

Featured Replies

My solution is specific to Fabia MK1, but I've stuck it in here as it 's possibly useful to members with older cars, where there's only one "12v " power socket. I don't know about the other models, but to charge my phone + a radio module to send sat nav info to the radio, and power my dash cam, I've got a 12v mass of cables and sockets  around the handbrake. Solution- on e bay there's a stack of sellers with high output double USB charge sockets ( 12v/24v to 5v ,at up to 3A output).  the one I bought ( circa £5) has a cover, so that if I'd  mounted it  in the rear of  the centre  consol, junior( GS in my case) can't  feed it. ( I've had it- one of my sprogs decided that a tape deck I built in the  80's liked grapes 😀)
