Columbus satnav - mute voice announcements?

Featured Replies

Anybody know if it's possible to mute the satnav voice announcements? I often would prefer to just have the visual guidance. I can't find anything in the manual. I can set the volume to zero, but this doesn't work as it still reduces the radio / media volume when the voice announcements (albeit silent) are made.

i've turned off my navigation announcements without affecting the media volumes.

in the Navigation menu, go to settings, and change the volume for announcements right down.

leave "entertainment fading".

I'll give this a try. Thanks!

Or simply touch the mute at the bottom of the screen - look at the base when you bring that menu up by moving your hand in front of the screen and there's a speaker like symbol, press that and the volume/mute of announcements is available, also try the handbook to see these options
