folding rear seats??

Featured Replies

I have a Skoda Karoq 1.5 TDI with which I am delighted however I cannot fold down the rear seats to create a flat bed. I do not have the varioFlex option but I find it strange that I cannot create a larger boot space by folding down the rear seats. Any advice, help or commiseration appreciated.

Have you read the owners manual?

Yes I have and it describes how to lower the rear seats but what I want is to move the seating to create a flat bed by raising the seat parts thus allowing the seat back to fold down completely. My wife's 10 year old banger does this why can't a 2019 Skoda?

Because they want you to pay extra for the VarioFlex option.

This YouTube video shows the VarioFlex system quite well...

This Karoq has the fixed rear seats (no VarioFlex) and the non-flat boot floor which I'm assuming you have currently?

Do Skoda not offer the variable height boot floor option that goes someway to smooth or flatten out the boot floor (pictured here in a SEAT Ateca)..

Your first picture is correct as my Karoq, there is no height adjustment of the boot floor to equalise. I will just have to live with it. Many thanks for your help.
