Do you have any tips for mounting extra lights on a 2014 octavia 1.6 TDI?

 

I have litte experience with this and I do not know if I need an extra canbus box on this model, or where it is easiest to get power from.

 

and will the light assistant still dim the lights automatically when meeting cars?

What sort of extra lights? 

 

I fitted some additional HID driving lamps to a Mk4 Mondeo. 

 

I relayed them from the main beams. No Canbus issues. 

 

I also ran a 5W LED reversing lamp directly from the reversing lamo supply, again with no Canbus issues.
