Symptoms of a bad Auxillary waterpump and where is it located?

On which engine is it?

2.0 Tdi CR DSG 150 BHP

If the aux. water pump is bad you will not be able to use the 'rest' function and you won't get heat for very long while the engine has stopped (start/stop)

 

Its under the car but on the 150 (at least the alter models) there are 2 electric pumps, one is in the low temperature circuit for the charge cooler and the other is in the hot circuit for the heating
