Rear Shock - Replacement Spec

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I went to replace the rear shocks on my 2012 2.0TDi Yeti today to find they appeared to differ from the new set I collected from Eurocarparts, with a distinct 'bulge' towards the base - see below.

Which model rear shocks have people installed in the past?

Thanks in advance

Chris

I wouldn't worry, manufacturers change their component suppliers on a regular basis. 2012 was a long time ago.

The extra girth matches that to those fitted on the front and probably offers additional strength or absorption levels.

Sachs is a well respected brand and their rear shocks are also without the bulge...

Presumably the fitment points are the same?
