Boot net programme

Featured Replies

The boot net programme is supposed to be standard on my MY19 Superb L&K; however, it only came with one net - see pic.

I asked the dealer about this, and he said his manager's L&K came with just one net as well. But i'm pretty sure there should be three - can anyone here confirm?

My October 2016 Superb came with  three nets. Two pocket types like the one you have photographed and one that goes across the boot from  one side to the other. I find them verry useful. I use  the pocket ones regularly.

Thanks. Any chance you could post a pic of the one that goes across the boot? Also, how should the pocket one be attached?

I have belatedly noted that your pocket type net is quite different to mine in two respects. Yours has a piece of netting above the pocket and the clips are different.

I suspect the attachments on the side of your boot could be different to mine. As you can see from the photographs, there are three upper and lower attachment points on each side of the boot. The top ones are hooks that the loops on the netting attach to. The bottom ones are metal loops on which the clips on the netting attach. The netting that goes across the boot has plastic clips on it which attach to the lower metal loops.

The side pocket netting is especially useful for placing ones plastic carrier bagged shopping in. I use the horizontal netting when I have a few larger items which would otherwise move around the boot when the car is moving.

In my boot I think that the positioning of the netting depends on what I want to secure, ease of securing and which attachment on the boot works best. I have not come across any official suggestions.

When did boot nets become a 'programme'? Bloody marketing types ruin everything! 😂

Yeh, I have to agree its a bloody-stupid name!

That said, i am supposed to have all three nets and wish i did. But i doubt i have much recourse as my Superb was a six-month old ex-Škoda-manager car.

My 2016 L&K Estate came with 3 nets. I connect my pocket side nets  the full length of the side, not the half length shown in the picture.

My 2020 SEL hasn’t come with any nets, nor torch

My Oct 15 came with 3 nets and 2 velcro, angled parcel retainers.
