My contract with Skoda connect is coming to an end and I've been offered a reduced cost of £36 for the year.

I can't say I ever use it. 

Does anyone here use it? Is it helpful to have? Should I renew?

Maybe I'm missing something that's important.

IMO complete waste of time and effort to use, use the £36 to buy a nice bottle of scotch and celebrate not having it.

I have had my Fabia since May and I would agree with Auric.

 

Added to that I always have problems connecting the hot spot on iPhone to give an data connection

 

I was told by Skoda technical that there was an incompatibility issue between the Apple IOS and Skoda's operating system

 

Fortunately the  iPhone does connect to allow me to use the hands free option.
