Stage 1 revo on vRS mk1

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

was thinking of getting revo stage 1 on a standard vRS. Does anyone know what the power and torque will likely be? how is it on standard KKK turbo and clutch?

are revo any good?

Generic maps are fine on standard cars, it's up to you to look after the clutch, the remap won't do it for you unless you ask for a torque limited map.

is it also possible to put a car's ecu back to standard?

how do p-torque, angel tuning and superchips compare to revo?

Yes, the ECU remap is reversible, it doesn't matter about the brand of the remap on a standard car, they're all the same, just go somewhere local for convenience.

With any vrs now being minimum 12 years old and probably higher mileage clutch and turbo issues may come to light with a remap.

nothing is certain but a remap obviously puts more strain on these items so you takes your chances.

there is no definitive answer just dont be too sad and shocked if something does fail
