Hi David, I

have a flange type, very small cutout at bottom of rear bumper. No interference with reverse sensors. I had 19 pin wiring which integrates with canbus and shows a trailer when I select reverse (If I'm Towing)

Sorry, can't remember. But it was supplied by an independent fitter. Wirng loom ws a seperate order. All in  supplied and fitted and registered to canbus £450 +  or -

Just shows a generic picture of a trailer when reverse selected if towing.

The fact that the radio display shows a trailer on the screen suggests that the towbar has been installed correctly. In that the fitter has used a bespoke module and correctly coded it so that it integrates to the cars systems properly...

- Rear parking sensors deactivated.

- Rear fog light on the car deactivated.

- Alarm activation if electrics disconnected and the car is locked.

- Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is adjusted to reflect that there is a trailer connected.

- Satellite Navigation avoids narrow roads or restricted routes.

- Bulb monitoring system extended to check the trailer lights, and the indicator buzzer is replaced by a secondary green light on the dash.

Plus more.

The fitters that simply splice into the cars wiring loom are best avoided.
