Amundsen Mib2 ECE 2016 update probs !

Featured Replies

Hi.......Have had the car a couple of weeks and have been trying ages to update the Skoda sd  card to a more up to date map version ece1 2020 using the Skoda portal, then unzipping with 7 zip, just doesn't work. In trouble now, as tried to put back the copied old maps, back on card, and that doesn't work now either 🥴 Have  formatted in Fat 32 every time. Please see attached. Would really appreciate any advice . Or worst case scenario, I could send card to someone ? Tia

Please post a listing of the root directory of the SD card.

Put the SD card into a PC, open Explorer, click on the SD card and then do a screen grab of the files/directories shown which you then copy & paste into your reply.

If you don't know how to do a screen grab then write the file/directory names down and type them manually into your reply.

Managed to d/l a link from Bod20, and unzipped directly to card, worked first time. I really appreciate your time Dave. Another question if i may....... The smart link asks for an activation key from dealer. I wonder if this is worth it ?

Can't help there, my MIB1 Amundsen doesn't support SmartLink.
