Octavia MK1 Front Seat Runner Removal.

Featured Replies

Evening All,

I’m wondering, the front seats slot into runners that are attached to the car right? Are these runners bolted to the car or welded?

if they’re bolted and removable then is it possible that actually any Skoda seat will be able to fit, within reason!

Just wondering, very specific enquiry I know.

Thanks in advance!

The runners are welded into the floor of the car. I your looking to fit other seat, you can get 8L Audi S3 seat bases that fit into the runners, and you can fit other seats to.
Hope that helps?

I think you're looking at parts 4 & 20 here.

Hi Mate,

Thanks for the response.. with the bases from the Audi A3, would that allow me to bolt seats from other non compatible cars to these bases? So for example MK3 Octavia VRS or MK1 Superb seats?

You can fit other seats that have a flat bottom to them. Preferably with removable runners as the S3 bases are the runners. The only limiting factors are width and height when fitted.
Hope that helps?
