Featured Replies

Anyone in the South Wales area able to code my Karoq to enable above. I believe all the hardware is present, just need someone who has necessary cable and software and is capable of doing it . Thanks

Thanks. Realised afterwards that would be best. Will do so shortly.

I live in S Wales also - when I rung a few people who do VCDS - advertised on ebay and other places - no one wanted to tackle 2019 car.

I bought the Kufatec dongle - plugged it in - and it activated no issue.

Hey thanks.Just had a look at this dongle. Seems very good. Is it just a matter of plug in and let it do its own thing. Like the idea that it can be reused if needed. How can I confirm that my car has all that’s needed. It’s the Edition model with auto lights and rain and light sensor. What else do I need to ensure it’s ok for the upgrade.

Mine is an edition

You need to have Traffic sign recognition and also Lane Assist - if you have those (should) then you have high end camera.

It says its coded to your car - but not sure if that is true or not... (i.e. when you have used it - your can only use dongle on your car)

Its just plug into OBD port and follow instructions... when to power on key etc..  took me 3 goes - before it took - but I was nt looking at correct light on dongle - you have to ask for the instructions which they email to you.. - if you get stuck - i have them somewhere.

Simon

thanks have now ordered. I have traffic sign and lane assist so should be ok. Useful if dealer resets that you can just redo it all.

ill try and get the instructions in advance. Thanks for your help
