Hi all

 

Ive been tempted to put an induction kit on mine, and seeing as the plastic air intake has snapped I think it may be a sign...

 

Any specific induction kit I should go for/stay clear of? Do I need to map the ecu so I don’t get any warning lights or is it a straight swap? (I will likely have a specialist fit it but just a query)

Very easy to fit yourself but what car and engine are you fitting it to?

 

You won’t notice much of a performance upgrade just more noise. A good quality panel filter and possibly in your case a new air intake would result in same if not better results

Just the filter? No hoses etc?

Easy to fit, myself and many others have opted for the Ramair jetstream induction kit

 

My BHP with it and a milltek sports exhaust was 205bhp. Up 8bhp from the stock 197bhp. But I can't say how much was induction kit and how much was exhaust.
